Tengoku Daimakyou anime always manages to amaze with its unique animation and plot. However, Episode 8 is arguably the best episode so far. Curious? Just read the review of the anime Tengoku Daimakyou Episode 8 below!
The Truth About Man-eaters
Maru and Kiruko finally meet dr. Usami who is said to be conducting human experiments at his hospital. After killing Hiruko who was reportedly in the basement, they were asked by dr. Usami to kill another “one”. Finding that they must meet a human who has dismembered his body and is only surviving with the help of machines, Maru and Kiruko wonder.
It was from Usami that they learned the harsh reality that the Hiruko aka Man-eaters they had been fighting against were humans in the first place. Due to an illness, they turned into man-eating monsters and the disease that attacked them was the same disease Tarao had. Of course you have guessed who is the figure lying almost dead without the help of a machine.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, a rebellion occurred against the Immortal Order which was basically just a trick to seize the power source from the Immortal Order’s building. However, we are left with the fact that there are still Man-eaters there. Even so, Maru and Kiruko’s business is not over with Usami. Despite the tragic ending, Maru and Kiruko continue their journey to find Heaven.
Best Animation for Dramatic Plots
Of course you know the “Great Cataclysm” that has been discussed so far is the destruction of civilization due to man-eating monsters that suddenly appeared and destroyed everything. However, once the survivors start rebuilding their lives, the problem is that humans always have weaknesses. The greatest weakness is the desire to have power and wealth when others do not have it.
This episode not only explores how the territorial struggle occurred in the aftermath of the “Great Cataclysm”, but also shows that human greed will always exist. On the other hand, Usami actually showed that she wanted nothing more than to end what should have ended. Patients whose body parts are dismembered and can only live because of the support of medical machines, of course this is an uncomfortable appearance.
However, this is where we learn that Usami is not a doctor who heals his patients. He’s just a man trying to keep people he “knows” alive as a human and not turn into a monster. Yep, every amputation was done to prevent the disease from spreading and making him turn into a monster faster. Who is this woman, of course we can already guess after seeing the ending.
Perfect and Emotionally Draining
In our opinion, the Tengoku Daimakyou Episode 8 anime perfectly presents the pieces of the story needed and puts them together into a masterpiece that deserves to be immortalized. The politics, the guilt, the sense of loss, the way all these conflicts and emotions are put together really drains us emotionally. We are left feeling sorry, angry, sad, until finally we understand how empty someone can be after losing someone who has supported them.
Maru who finally felt that all this time his powers were useful finally thought otherwise. Knowing Hiruko aka Man-eater was human, Maru could only feel guilt from killing so many people. The way Kiruko comforted him felt very personal. There are many things that feel personal in this episode and all of them can make you cry.
Anime Tengoku Daimakyou Episode 8 is little by little giving many clues that bring us closer to Heaven. There’s a lot of pain, regret, even without any action this episode manages to keep us waiting until the end. With one puzzle reassembled, the next episode will surely reveal more mysteries.
