RomCom Giji Harem Manga to Get Anime Adaptation

Publisher Shogakukan announced that the manga written and illustrated by Yuu Saitou, Giji Harem (Pseudo Harem), will have an anime adaptation.

They haven’t revealed production details or an airing release date, but there is information on the main voice cast of the Giji Harem anime:

  • Nobuhiko Okamoto as Eiji Kitahama.
  • Saori Hayami as Rin Nanakura.

Information from the publisher also includes comments from Saitou. “I started posting ‘Giji Harem’ on my Twitter account, but it got to become a manga series and eventually became an anime. I feel that the number of people involved in this franchise is growing, and I feel grateful to everyone and to life. And thanks to all the readers who made this anime adaptation happen, thank you so much!.”

Saitou began publishing the manga via its official Twitter account in 2018, and then began publishing it in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine in January 2019 ending in March 2021 and will eventually get an anime adaptation.

Synopsis of Giji Harem:
“Eiji Kitahama, a sophomore in high school, has a dream of becoming a popular student. To help make his dream come true, Rin Nanakura, his drama club partner, uses his acting skills to create a world of harems full of girls who have feelings for Eiji. Although some girls show affection towards Eiji, Rin’s affection behind them is actually real. Rin’s colorful appearance continues to delight Eiji, but will Rin herself find a place in his heart?
