Synopsis Hell’s Paradise Jigokuraku
“Gabimaru the Hollow,” a ninja from Iwagakure Village known for his cold demeanor, is now sentenced to death. Tired of death and betrayal, he seeks death. However, it seems that none of the execution methods worked on him as Gabimaru, even though he doesn’t admit it, still has a reason to live.
He wants to return home and see his wife, the reason for his happiness and why his job as an assassin is starting to get in his way. Because of that, he refused to die. Asaemon the executioner, a notorious villain slayer, noticed this and presented the ninja with a proposal.
He wants Gabimaru to join an expedition to an island south of Japan in search of the elixir of life, and in return he will forgive all his crimes. However, this island is not a normal place: it is believed to be paradise.
